Soul Sundays events were born from the desire to create a community where people could grow, move, and connect.
Each Soul Sundays event is more than a fitness class or wellness workshop, it is an experience that will leave you filled with gratitude and joy for your every day life.
At our events you will have the opportunity to engage with local businesses by sampling their products, visiting their spaces, or being led through movement by their instructors.
At Soul Sundays, our core values are authenticity, empowerment, and inclusivity. Our events are created to provide a comfortable space to connect with yourself and others in a meaningful way, in an effort to cultivate more joy in our everyday lives.
We approach Soul Sundays with a holistic mindset, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We want each person who is new to our community to feel uplifting support from the start. The Soul Sundays community connects like-minded individuals who share a common interest in health and wellness and provides the space to help each person blossom into the best version of themselves.
To live our fullest, happiest lives we must take time to reflect on where we are at and where we want to go. You will have the space and time at each Soul Sundays to do that through movement, reflection, and connection with the community.
Small and mighty! We are a duo with a passion for connecting with people and businesses that align with our goal to create a more connected community. We both came to Arizona as transplants and as our roots began to grow here, we looked for the spaces and people that gave us a sense of community. After years of exploring, we began to couple our love of local businesses, health, and wellness with the need to create meaningful connections.
From there, Soul Sundays came to life!
Tess is originally from Kansas City, MO and made Arizona home in 2014. She came to Arizona for family and stayed for the sunshine and amazing restaurants.
Tess has a Master's in Business Administration and an undergrad in Biology from ASU. Her personal experiences, career, and education, highlighted how personal growth and mindfulness enhance every aspect of life. Tess believes that open conversations about these concepts create deeper connections in our relationships.
Outside of Soul Sundays, Tess works in consulting. In her free time, she loves hiking, family time, yoga, and good hazy IPA.
Julie is originally from Denver, CO and came to Arizona in 2016, unsure if she would last very long in the heat. Before she knew it, she cultivated a life that made Arizona feel like home. Julie's passion for helping others and seeing her vision come to life, led her to a career as a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering. However, her technical day job left her craving a creative outlet. Julie got her 200-hour yoga teaching certification in 2022, and quickly grew fond of the community created through each class.
Outside of Soul Sundays, Julie can be found hiking with her dog, working on her house, or drinking an iced americano.
